Setting Alarms

Alarms are available for those clients running the Facility Management Module of Theatre Manager.

To set an alarm for a task, you perform the following steps:

  1. In the Task window, click the Alarm button.

    The Participant Detail dialog opens.

  2. You can enter the Status, Priority and Acceptance.

    Values entered or changed and save here, affect the individual participant and are displayed in the participant's line of the participant tab of the Task window.

  3. Select the Type of Alarm.

  4. Once you have made your selection, you have the opportunity to choose the timing of the alarm.

  5. Choosing Message and Sound adds another drop down list - Sound.

    Default sounds are not loaded with Theatre Manager. They reside in the Theatre Manager Preferences directory.

    The .WAV sound files need to be loaded into the Theatre Manager preferences sounds folder. Sounds are unique to each workstation. They are not globally shared files. Click here for more information on Theatre Manager Preference file locations.
