Locating a patron's seat sold by another outlet

Subscribe to Syndicate

In the Outlet version of Theatre Manager, you may occasionally need to know where a particular patron is sitting in order to accommodate a seating request for a new buyer. In the attached picture, where you are selling tickets for somebody, they may say, 'I want to sit near Doug.'

You are then able to:

  1. Right click on the map
  2. Select 'Find Seats for a Patron' from the pop-up menu
  3. You will see a list of people behind. This list is limited to people who have purchased a ticket to the specific performance -- and nobody else. You can use the standard search tools to search for the specific patron by name or search for all.

You then have two choices:

  • Double click the patron's name on the list and that person's seats will be shown on the map, or
  • Drag the person's name from the list to the map and see where they are sitting. This option lets you do this for multiple people so you can satisfy a question like: 'I would like to sit near Bob, or Jean, or Sally, whomever I can be with.'
