The Add/Edit Parameter Window

The Add/Edit Parameter window is used for selecting a data field and it's parameters to be used as criteria for the report. Click here for more information about adding criteria to a report.

Parts of the Criteria Window

Select how this criteria will work with other criteria.
Select A Field
A list of available data fields for this report.
Select a Condition
A drop down menu showing the available conditions for the field. Conditions are ways to search the field for data, such as "is one of" or "=."
Denotes whether the field is indexed or not. Indexed fields improve search speeds.
Filter
Allows for finding the data field or parameter rapidly. Enter partial text of the field or parameter.
Applies the current filter to either the field list or the parameter list. If the Filter Text box is empty, this will show all fields or parameters.
When checked, the most common data fields for this report will be shown. When unchecked, all available data fields will be shown.
Adds the current criteria and allows selection of additional criteria.
Cancels the adding of the criteria.
Adds the current criteria and returns the user to the Add Criteria window.
